GELATO GLOBAL PRINT - Premium Matte Paper Wooden Framed Poster - 250,000 March on Washington for JOBS and Freedom & VOTING RIGHTS - MLK I have a Dream speech 1963 Awesome Speech extract of MLK speech - must see: https://youtu.be/n82rgdbM9G4 Text on the print bottom: On the 28 of August 1963 Over 250,000 demonstrators took part in the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in WA DC. The march was successful in pressuring the administration of John F. Kennedy to initiate a strong federal Civil Rights bill in Congress. During this event, Dr. Martin Luther King delivered his memorable “I Have a Dream” speech. We celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King - Nobel Peace Prize 1964. REF MLK: Awards: Nobel Peace Prize (1964) · Presidential Medal of Freedom (1977) · Congressional Gold Medal (2004) · Time Person of the Year (1963) The I Have a Dream March in WA DC AUTHORS NOTES: If we see the marches towards the WA DC March, we see many signs for VOTING RIGHTS. Now we can admire MLK vision that Voting Rights was a major key towards justice in America. Now in the 2020 Election thanks to it and many dedicated leaders - an openly racist President and government was deposed by the clear majority. We now know that a HUGE percentage of that voting block was the black voters - the only decisive majority to expel the president. Also unplanned events like the recording the the intentional police killing of George Floyd (I can't breath) and many others like Breonna Taylor exposed openly the current administration aim to making the Police force a lawless repression force in the US. The impact of George Floyd video reached the entire world, and today it's hard to find in the web due to obvious censorship masked as 'not a nice thing to see'. Congratulations to all the African American voters that got up, voted and expelled such a repulsive president that had so many dazzled and still voted for him. He used the 4 years as President and the entire apparatus of the WH, the web (FB ads/Twitter) and finally the entire US Govt to win the next election, but still lost it by a significant popular majority + electoral votes. Lucky for all he was quite stupid... We note that MLK wisdom was deep and far reaching. His quote: "Intelligence plus character — that is the goal of true education." This describes forcefully the main deficiency of the President Trump - a person with little intelligence and no character. Simply a spoiled brat. MLK Quotes: "Intelligence plus character — that is the goal of true education." “If we are not careful, our colleges will produce a group of close-minded, unscientific, illogical propagandists, consumed with immoral acts. Be careful, 'brethren!' Be careful, teachers!” "True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice." -- Dr. Martin Luther King GELATO GLOBAL PRINT will print in the nearest location to your address thus saving shipping cost, delivery time and carbon footprint.
